Fundación CARTIF is a leading Spanish Applied Research Centre in terms of R&D and technology transfer activities created in 1994 formed up by some 170 researchers. CARTIF participation in international activities is promoted through the R&D Programs Department and has been materialized in the current participation in 60 on-going international projects, including 30 projects from H2020 (6 of them coordinated). Coordinated projects include OptEEmAL “Optimized Energy Efficient Design Platform for Refurbishment at District Level”, R2CITIES “Renovation of Residential urban spaces: towards nearly zero energy CITIES”; CITyFiED “RepliCable and InnovaTive Future Efficient Districts and cities” and four H2020 lighthouse projects REMOURBAN “REgeneration MOdel for accelerating the smart URBAN transformation”; MySMARTLife ” Smart Transition of EU cities towards a new concept of smart Life and Economy”; URBAN GreenUP “New strategy for Re-Naturing Cities through Nature-Based Solutions” and MAKING-CITY “Energy efficient pathway for the city transformation: enabling a positive future”.

CARTIF 25 years experience in technologies, R&D projects and developments for the companies that concern to all the stakeholders in the Energy and Environment sector. CARTIF is pioneer in renewable energies and biofuels research in Spain and one of the most prepared research group in Energy all over Europe.
