Society is faced with difficult decisions about the transition to a society where societal demands are met and planetary boundaries are respected. LOCOMOTION works on the development of models and associated tools (Model analyser, Model explorer and Sustainability Crossroads II Game) that help the different stakeholders in decision-making to face climate change impacts/effects and promote a fair and sustainable transition towards a low-carbon economy. When reliable data is packaged as tools that are simple to use and well designed, targeted, and understood by all stakeholders, it has the potential to empower people and have a significant impact on their lives.
