After more than 4 years of intense work, last Tuesday, September 26th, the Final Conference of the LOCOMOTION project was held within the framework of the 18th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES).
The Final Conference consisted of two special sessions and a side event on the main results of the LOCOMOTION project. The two special sessions were more academic and focused on specific research papers, while the side event focused more on explaining the WILIAM model. It was a good opportunity to collect feedback on the model results, the specific tools developed based on the WILIAM results and in general for all the project developments achieved during the last 4 years.
During the sessions, there was time to discuss next steps, pending issues in modelling and future steps to obtain policy recommendations towards a more sustainable and resilient society.
We would like to thank you for being a part of our final event!
