Our last Locominar which took place on 22th of October 2021 dealt with five science-based tips for the transition in Europe.

The online webinar was organized by the European Environment Bureau (EEB) and led by Katharina Wiese (EEB). The event counted with the collaboration of other LOCOMOTION partners (BC3,UVa and UNIPI) explaining different policy recommendations for a more sustainable transition. More than 35 stakeholders highly interested in the policy results of LOCOMOTION attended the event.

The webinar began with a general introduction of the event. After that, the following policies were presented:

  • Tip 1: No space for error
  • Tip 2: More renewables, less energy
  • Tip 3: Navigating the future of electric vehicles
  • Tip 4: Avoiding the inequalities of green growth
  • Tip 5: Remove carbon removals

Finally, there was time for questions in which stakeholders provide us useful recommendations to improve the policies that will be part of WILIAM model. The LOCOMOTION team would like to thank all stakeholders who attend the meeting.
